I've been designing and making furniture for over 20 years having trained in London. I work with clients individually to create furniture which blends perfectly into their home. People come to me for a piece to fits into their daily living, perhaps a table of a certain size or a functional statement piece. My expertise lies in taking their ideas and creating modern high quality furniture from tables to beds.
beautiful aesthetic properties
I aim to make furniture which simply enhances its raw state. I use sustainable temperate hardwoods like oak, ash and beech and only ever reclaimed tropical hardwood such as teak and mahogany. Creating a new piece of furniture through recycling gives a new lease of life to naturally aged wood which has been sitting unloved often for decades. This could be salvaged stairs or unwanted discarded sideboards. To enhance the wood's properties I use a natural oil finish.
